Major Refresh Work Coming to Seven Oaks Pool
After 70 years, the main tank at Seven Oaks Pool will soon undergo a $3.5 million investment on a major structural refresh to ensure this much-loved community facility remains a safe and welcoming space for years to come.
While we know the closure of the Seven Oaks Pool for the next 14 months will be an adjustment for many in our community, this essential work is necessary to ensure the facility remains safe. The repairs address important structural and waterproofing issues, helping to protect the pool and enhance the overall experience for everyone.
Starting December 14, 2025, the main tank will be closed for approximately 12 to 14 months as the consultants and engineers have suggested for important upgrades.
While this work is underway, the kiddie pool and splash pad will stay open for families to enjoy, except for a short six-week period when additional maintenance is required (dates to be confirmed).
I understand that this closure may be an inconvenience, and I appreciate your patience as we complete this essential work. In the meantime, you can explore other swimming options across the city by visiting winnipeg.ca/pools.
